Copper Zinc Alloy Powder(Brass Powder)
Copper Zinc Alloy Powder, commonly referred to as brass powder, is an alloy powder composed of copper and zinc elements. Brass gets its name from its golden hue. The higher the zinc content, the closer the color is to bright yellow. Depending on the ratio of copper to zinc, brass can have different properties and uses.
While the conductivity of brass is reduced compared to pure copper, it remains good. With the addition of zinc, brass possesses higher corrosion resistance and increased hardness.
We offer the ABR series of brass powder, which is a metallurgical alloy of copper and zinc. It is produced by melting at high temperatures, followed by high-temperature atomization using water (or gas) as the medium. This brass powder is a lead-free/eco-friendly type, and the commonly used copper to zinc composition ratios are 80/20 and 70/30.
