Electrolytic Copper Powder
Electrolytic copper powder is a high-purity copper powder produced through the electrolysis process. In its manufacturing, a high-purity copper plate serves as the anode, while a solution containing copper sulfate and sulfuric acid is used as the electrolyte. Under the influence of an electric current, copper ions dissolve from the anode into the electrolyte and deposit onto the cathode, forming copper powder.
Electrolytic copper powder exhibits several notable characteristics. Due to its high purity (typically above 99%), it contains minimal impurities, granting it excellent electrical conductivity. Additionally, the particles of electrolytic copper powder are generally irregular in shape, offering a large specific surface area. Its particle size ranges from a few microns to several tens of microns, providing significant flexibility for various applications.
