Tin-iron Alloy Powder
Tin-iron alloy powder is a diffusion alloy powder composed of tin and iron. The tin-iron alloy powder produced by the diffusion method is a metallic powder material in which tin is uniformly coated on the surface of iron powder and partially alloyed through a high-temperature diffusion process.
The diffusion method ensures a more uniform composition distribution, allowing tin to coat the iron powder evenly, thereby improving tin utilization, enhancing powder flowability, and optimizing compaction and forming performance. The addition of tin improves the sintering behavior of iron powder, increases the material’s wear resistance, and enhances its corrosion resistance. Due to these advantages, tin-iron alloy powder is widely used in powder metallurgy, friction materials, electrical contact materials, and special coatings.
